Arch installation of the main entrance "Lakhta Center" using Liebherr LTM 1200 truck crane , LUKAS-CRANE company. The weight of the structure was 60 tons and was divided equally into two cranes.
The uniqueness is that the unsupported span of the truss was 98 meters between the supports.
The construct combines four large arch trusses. The photo shows the first such arch.
To date, the first skyscraper in St. Petersburg "Lakhta Center" has grown to its final height - 462 meters.
The building is officially the tallest in Europe .
The spire has already been installed and the aviation lights are on. By the way, not only the headquarters of Gazprom will be located in the tower. The plans include an observation deck, restaurants, a planetarium and an exhibition center.
The project is planned to be fully completed in the 3rd quarter of 2018. The skyscraper has become the northernmost in the world.
