Prospekt Slavy metro station is a long-awaited project for the Frunzensky district of St. Petersburg. After assigning the name Park of Heroes-Firefighters to the nearby park, it was decided to make the future station part of the dedication to the representatives of this heroic profession.
LUKAS-CRANE, in cooperation with the Russian Emergencies Ministry, was pleased to take part in this project.
Rough Terrain Crane 80 tons GROVE GMK 4080-1 in the limited conditions of the semi-underground metro lobby under construction, using our own traverses, descents of rare fire fighting equipment were successfully carried out .
The station "Prospekt Slavy" is included in the section under construction of the Frunzensko-Primorskaya (purple) line of the St. Petersburg metro.
"Prospect of Glory" is located at a depth of 54 meters and is a deep pylon-type station. The project provides 2 exits - one lobby is combined with an underground passage at the intersection of Bukharestskaya Street and Glory Avenue, the second - to the south, at the corner of Alpisky Lane and Bukharestskaya Street.
They decided to devote the southern exit to the feats of firefighters, and the northern lobby, which overlooks the Internationalists Park, will immortalize the internationalist soldiers and participants in the war in Afghanistan. The arrival hall will be designed in the corresponding military theme - according to the idea, this will create a single ensemble with the monument erected in the Internationalists Park.
The main decoration of the future metro station will be a stained glass window located above the escalator. The floors of the lobby will be made of light gray granite in several shades. It is planned to equip the station with travelators and small areas for the convenience of movement of people with limited mobility.
